Scholarship & Financial Aid Policy

1. Purpose & Scope

This policy outlines the framework for awarding scholarships and financial assistance to eligible students at Riphah International University, Faisalabad. The goal is to recognize academic excellence, support deserving students facing financial constraints, and encourage holistic development in line with the university’s values.

2. Types of Scholarships & Financial Aid
  • Merit Scholarship
  • Kinship Scholarship
  • Hifz Ul Quran Scholarship
  • Need-Based Scholarship
  • Alumni Scholarship
  • Dar-e-Arqam Schools & Colleges Scholarship
  • Chairman/BOD Special Scholarship
  • Ummah International Scholarship
3. Eligibility Criteria
  • Enrollment in a regular program at Riphah International University, Faisalabad.
  • Fulfillment of minimum academic performance standards for the respective scholarship type.
  • No record of disciplinary violations.
4. Application Process
  1. Complete the Scholarship & Financial Aid Application Form available on the university website or Student Affairs Office.
  2. Attach all required documents, including:
    • Academic transcripts
    • Proof of income (salary slips, bank statements, etc.)
    • CNIC/B-Form
    • Any additional documents relevant to the scholarship type
  3. Submit the application before the announced deadline.
  4. Appear for an interview if required by the selection committee.
5. Award & Renewal
  • All applications will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee.
  • Awards are communicated in writing and credited directly to the student’s fee account.
  • Renewal depends on maintaining the GPA requirement and compliance with all university rules.
6. Withdrawal or Cancellation

The university reserves the right to withdraw or cancel a scholarship in case of:

  • Academic underperformance (below the required GPA).
  • Disciplinary action against the student.
  • Submission of false or misleading information.
7. Appeals

Students may submit a written appeal to the Scholarship Appeals Committee within 7 working days of receiving the decision.
