Prof. Dr. Anis Ahmad is a distinguished social scientist of international repute and the founding Vice-Chancellor of Riphah International University. He earned his Ph.D. from Temple University, Pennsylvania, USA, and has held several prestigious academic leadership roles nationally and internationally. He previously served as Vice President of the International Islamic University, Islamabad, and as the founding Dean of the Faculty of Revealed Knowledge & Human Sciences at the International Islamic University, Malaysia. Prof. Dr. Ahmad is a former President and Secretary-General of the Association of Muslim Social Scientists, USA, and a Fellow of the University of Sains Malaysia. A prolific scholar, he writes extensively on contemporary social, political, and cultural challenges facing the Muslim Ummah. His contributions include articles in globally recognized publications such as the Oxford Encyclopedia of the Modern Muslim World (New York), the Encyclopedia of Islam (Istanbul, Turkey), the Encyclopedia of Islamic Economy (London), and the Muslim World Book Review (UK), along with other reputable academic journals.
