About The Department
The Department of Education was established to provide quality preparation for individuals dedicated to the teaching profession. Our approach blends educational theory with classroom practice so graduates can translate pedagogy into effective teaching. Core emphases include curriculum design, assessment literacy, classroom management, educational psychology, and the purposeful use of technology.
Students engage in microteaching, school observations, and supervised practicum experiences that connect methods to real classrooms. Communication skills, teamwork, and professional ethics are cultivated throughout, ensuring graduates are well-rounded and classroom-ready.
